I work for Network Rail (formerly Railtrack) the company that owns the railway track and signals in England. I'm one of the Signalling Inspectors in Manchester.

My main interests are books (I read everything I can get my hands on), I enjoy writing too. I've finished re-writing my novel and published it at Lulu. I'm an enthusiast for Linux and free software, I'm not a big fan of Windows. I'm as OS junkie,I like trying out Operating Systems. At the moment I'm using Kubuntu.

I enjoy learning foreign languages (I speak reasonably good French, some Spanish and German and bits of Russian, Latin, Japanese and other odd languages) and motorcycles. I play the guitar, but I'm not very talented.
