Repair and Service Ship

Due to the highly mobile nature of the war against the Dissenters, a mobile base was needed to resupply and repair ships in combat. Several designs were produced, most were made out of whatever hulls and engines were locally available. R&S ships had extensive fuel and storage capacity, as well as anti-matter transfer ports for refuelling other ships. Most had some medical facilities and all had entertainment for ship crews. As the war continued, each R&S ship acquired a small fleet of merchant ships which helped to both keep it supplied and expanded the range of services offered to visiting crews.
