Shuttle/ Fighter: Kamar (Gnat) Class

With every planet demanding protection and limited production resources, the FV could not assign valuable warships to guard planets. One solution was to convert a shuttle to a makeshift fighter. Although they acrried two Scythe cannons, their tactical use was limited. However, en masse they could be expected to deliver a devastating rain of firepower to anything that approached.

Most Kamars had a crew of six and could remain on patrol for 8-10 days before returning to their bases.
